The terms that matter before you book, in one place.
Reservation hours

Return hours

Delays caused by your airline, immigration, customs, or other circumstances outside your control do not automatically result in an additional fee. Fees may apply when a delay is caused by incorrect information you gave us or by circumstances within your control.
Airport shuttle
Send us accurate flight details; we watch arrivals for delays. Exit the arrivals hall, cross the street and go to the yellow Shuttle Bus sign, where a TRAC representative meets you. If we haven't heard from you within 2 hours of your flight's arrival, the reservation will be canceled.
Cruise terminal
Exit the cruise terminal and walk to the Main Gate (Gate 5), where a TRAC representative meets you. Make sure the pickup time you gave us is accurate: if we don't hear from you within 2 hours, the reservation will be canceled.
Hotel or Airbnb
A TRAC representative picks up the authorized driver(s) at your hotel or Airbnb and will bring you to our office to complete the rental and collect the car. Give us the correct address and be ready at the pickup time: if we contact you by WhatsApp, text, email or phone at or after that time and you don't respond within 20 minutes of the first attempt, the reservation will be canceled.
Airport shuttle return
Return the car to our Dakota office, and we'll shuttle you to the airport ourselves.
Airport self-drop
Available only 9:00 PM - 8:59 AM. $50 fee, and Full Risk at $25/day is required for the entire rental. All airport self-drop instructions must be followed.
Hotel or Airbnb return
Give us the correct address and exact pickup time. The vehicle must be ready for collection at the agreed time.
Cruise terminal return
The vehicle must be returned to the exact location where you picked it up.
Payment & deposit
- Paid in person before the vehicle leaves our lot. We don't take payment online.
- Cash (USD), Visa, MasterCard, and debit.
- We don't accept American Express or Discover.
- 4% surcharge on card payments. The card must belong to an authorized driver.
- $200 security deposit, in cash or as credit card details for security. It is separate from the deductible and does not limit your liability.
- No deposit required with Full Risk coverage.
- Rental charges are non-refundable once your rental begins, including for early returns.
- A cleaning fee applies when the vehicle is returned excessively dirty.
Keys aren't covered by any protection plan. Add Key Protection when you book to cover qualifying key loss or damage; without it, charges start at $450 and may be higher.
Drivers, fuel and cancellation
What's the minimum age to rent?
23. Every driver must be at least 23, and there's no young-driver surcharge. We rent up to age 80; above that we ask for a doctor's letter confirming fitness to drive.What driver's license do I need?
A valid license you've held for at least 6 months. Foreign licenses are fine and an International Driving Permit isn't required, though it's handy to carry.Is mileage unlimited?
Yes, unlimited on every category, included in the rate.What's your fuel policy?
Full to full, regular gasoline only. Return it short and a flat refuelling charge applies by category ($70 to $150), whatever the gap. A prepaid fuel option is available at the same per-category price.Can I cancel before my rental starts?
Yes, free of charge. There's no cancellation window and no fee, as long as you cancel before the rental agreement is signed and the car is collected.Can I add a second driver?
Yes, $5 per day. Up to 2 drivers per rental, each 23 or older, both listed on the agreement with valid licenses. An unlisted driver voids the insurance entirely.
